The colt was bred in Kentucky by Hurstland Farm, and was purchased as a yearling by NAC Bloodstock and Training. Wavertree Stables sold the colt as agent.
The first two year old to sell by COUNTRY DAY brought $100,000 from Dr. Naveed M. Chowhan on Monday at Fasig-Tipton Midlantic!
Bred by Clarkland Farm, the filly out of Saratoga Rhythm was purchased as a yearling by Webb Carroll Training Center. Parrish Farms consigned the filly on behalf of Webb Carroll Training Center.
Fast Track, a Grade 3 placed son of Taste of Paradise, from his first crop to race, has been retired. The horse concludes his racing career at age nine, he retires 100% sound, with $174,637 in lifetime earnings. He still holds the course/track record for one mile on turf at Turf Paradise, covering the mile distance in 1:34.06, and setting the record at the age of seven.
Tizthedream, a three year old filly by Tizdejavu, broke her maiden at Churchill Downs on Sunday going six furlongs on dirt.
On Friday, May 13th at Santa Anita Park, High Class Taste, a two year old son of Taste of Paradise, ran a game third in a Maiden Special Weight event in the second race. Four races later in the sixth race at Santa Anita, Magic Taste, a four year old son of Taste of Paradise, just missed by a nose, running second in a ten horse field.
On Saturday, Daisy N Paradise, a three year old daughter, ran second in a seven horse field at Prairie Meadows. Finally on Sunday, Starmark, a five year old son of Taste of Paradise, capped off the weekend with a dominant win in an eight horse field at Mountaineer. Four starts, a 4-1-2-1 record for the weekend.

Jazzy Times, a three year old colt by Discreetly Mine out of Jazzy Melissa became Crestwood’s newest TDN Rising Star on Saturday with a big Maiden Special Weight win on Debut during the Derby undercard. General Quarters was represented by two winners over the weekend. On Friday, the three year old filly Sumfloridasunfun broke her maiden by 1-3/4 lengths at Tampa Bay Downs going one mile on turf. Two days later on Sunday, another three year old filly named That’s My Bai broke her maiden at Tampa Bay Downs by 1-1/2 lengths going one mile on turf.
Taste of Paradise was represented by three starters over the weekend. Taste’s Secret, a three year old multiple stakes placed son of Taste of Paradise, toyed with an eight horse Allowance field at Lone Star Park in his win. The day before, Honey in Paradise, a four year old multiple winning daughter finished second at Sun Ray Park. Finally, a little earlier in the day, Kid Paradise, a six year old multiple winning son, finished second in a race at Arlington Park. A 3-1-2-0 weekend for Taste of Paradise.
Luna Azteca, a three year old filly by TIZDEJAVU, remained undefeated when she won her second race; a seven furlong turf Allowance at Turf Paradise by 3-1/2 lengths on Sunday.
GENERAL QUARTERS was represented by a winner at Aqueduct on Friday, when the three year old filly Army Brat won the sixth race for Michelle Nevin. Going six furlongs in 1:11.4, she won by 1-1/4 lengths to pick up $24,000 for the win and take her totals to 4-2-1-1 and earnings of $59,800.
