GOOD G3 STAKES SHOWING FOR TWO TIZDEJAVU COLTS

My Team and Tiz My Valentine, both three year old colts by 2nd crop sire TIZDEJAVU, ran well in the $200,000 Grade-3 Kent Stakes at Delaware Park on Saturday. It was the first Graded stakes appearance for both colts.

Coming off of an impressive Maiden Special Weight win on the Preakness undercard, My Team, broke alertly and set the pace only to give way grudgingly in the stretch to dead-heat for 4th place beaten only 2-1/2 lengths for 1st and 1/4 length for 3rd. It was a strong showing off the Maiden win for this colt who was foaled and raised at Crestwood Farm.

Tiz My Valentine, who finished 3rd last out in the $50,000 Stanton Stakes, was never too far off the leaders and closed very well to get up for 3rd beaten only 2-1/4 lengths for the win.

Our Second crop sire TIZDEJAVU is poised for an exciting weekend of racing ahead!

On Saturday, he has two 3 year old colts entered to run in the $200,000 Grade 3 Kent Stakes at Delaware Park. The first entrant, My Team, was foaled and raised at Crestwood Farm for owner/breeder RMJ Stables and is trained by Graham Motion. My Team is also entered in the $60,000 Lamplighter Stakes at Monmouth Park and could run there instead. The second entrant, Tiz My Valentine, was most recently 3rd in the $50,000 Stanton Stakes at Delaware Park.

In addition to his Graded Stakes runners this weekend; TIZDEJAVU also has a 2 year old first time starter in a MSW at Woodbine and 3 year old running in an Allowance NW1x race at Indiana Downs.

ANOTHER MAIDEN WINNER FOR TIZDEJAVU

Remember My Love, a three year old gelding by TIZDEJAVU, broke his maiden by 2-1/2 lengths at Mountaineer on Saturday going 5-1/2 furlongs on dirt.

TIZDEJAVU GETS ANOTHER STAKES HORSE

TIZDEJAVU picked up another Stakes horse on Saturday when Tiz My Valentine, a three year old colt, ran third in the $50,000 Stanton Stakes at Delaware Park. Another three year old colt by TIZDEJAVU, My Team, was also entered to run in the race but was scratched when the race came off the turf.

ANOTHER MAIDEN WINNER FOR TIZDEJAVU

I’veseenthisbefore, a three year old gelding by TIZDEJAVU, won second time out at Indiana Downs on Saturday after finishing second on debut. He won the mile turf race in 1:35-1.

DAUGHTER OF TASTE OF PARADISE WINS FIRST OUT

Velocita, a 3 year old daughter of TASTE OF PARADISE, broke her maiden at first asking, on June 6 at Emerald Downs. She won easily by 6-3/4 lengths, covering 6f in 1:10.85 and finishing ?as the handiest of winners? according to the chart.

TIZDEJAVU 2 YO WINS MSW IN FIRST TRY, EQUALS TRACK RECORD

Il Est Beau, a two year old colt by TIZDEJAVU, won on debut by 1-3/4 lengths in a Maiden Special Weight at Evangeline Downs going 4-1/2 furlongs on the dirt Wednesday. He equaled the track record of :52.3. He was bred by Cloyce Clark and Jay Goodwin.

HUGE WEEKEND FOR TIZDEJAVU!

Over the weekend TIZDEJAVU registered four winners from six starters.

Highlighted by My Team, a three year old colt, who won a Maiden Special Weight on the Preakness under-card for Ralphy Meahjohn and Trainer Graham Motion. He went gate to wire under Trevor McCarthy to beat a field of 13 by 2-1/4 lengths in 1:41-4.

Other winners of the weekend were Stakes winner, Tizgorgeous winning the 7th at Arlington Park on Sunday; Tizsational winning the 3rd at Churchill Downs by four lengths on Saturday; and Deja l’Etoile winning by 2-3/4 lengths on Friday at Canterbury.

TIZDEJAVU FILLY WINS ALW GATE-TO-WIRE AT GOLDEN GATE

Allthatnmore, a three year old filly by TIZDEJAVU, won an Allowance Optional Claiming ($40,000) Race at Golden Gate on Friday; she was not entered for the tag. She led from start to finish in the one mile turf race to notch her third victory at Golden Gate.

TASTE OF PARADISE 2 YO RUNS BIG IN STAKES DEBUT

Taste’s Secret, a two year old colt by TASTE OF PARADISE, made his stakes debut at Turf Paradise in the ATBA Spring Sales Stakes going 5 furlongs. In only his second career start, he finished second by a neck in the nine horse field.
