GRADE 1 WINNING MILER JACK MILTON RETIRING TO CRESTWOOD FARM IN 2016!

Grade I winning miler Jack Milton, by War Front, will enter stud at Pope McLean’s Crestwood Farm in Kentucky for the 2016 season. Jack Milton raced in the silks of Gary Barber and was campaigned by Todd Pletcher. He retires sound as a Graded stakes winner at three, four, and five after 19 career starts at eleven different tracks and with earnings of $853,828. Jack Milton notched his Grade 1 win in the Keeneland Maker’s 46 Mile, captured two other Graded victories and also placed in an additional six graded Stakes, three of them Grade 1. Gary Barber and Pope McLean will stand Jack Milton in partnership in a deal brokered by McCann Bloodstock and Bluewater Farm.

Bred by Seth Hancock’s Cherry Valley Farm, Jack Milton is out of the Forty Niner mare Preserver and is a full brother to Graded Stakes winner Peace Preserver and traces to the important Claiborne mare Bourtai.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring Jack Milton to Crestwood,” said Pope McLean. “He will be the only Grade 1 winning son of War Front to retire this year and he has the co-fastest Ragozin number, a 2, for any son of War Front standing at stud. He is from a huge female family and is also a very nice physical. We are confident that he will be well received by breeders.”

TASTE OF PARADISE FILLY WINS HER 3RD IN A ROW

Honey in Paradise, a three year old filly by TASTE OF PARADISE, had her fourth career victory, and third in a row, at Turf Paradise on Tuesday. Honey in Paradise is a full sister to Taste?s Secret, a two year old multiple stakes placed son of TASTE OF PARADISE.

TWO YEAR OLD TASTE OF PARADISE STRIKES AGAIN

On Sunday, November 1st, a two year old multiple stakes placed son of Taste of Paradise, Taste’s Secret, finished 2nd in a field of 10 horses, in the Arizona Thoroughbred Breeders Association Fall Sale Stakes at Turf Paradise. This was his third stakes placed finish in six lifetime starts, as a two year old.

ANOTHER IMPRESSIVE WINNER BY A GENERAL QUARTERS 2 YEAR OLD!

R Beauty’s a Beast, a two year old filly from the first crop of GENERAL QUARTERS, broke her maiden yesterday at Gulfstream Park West by two lengths going six furlongs on the dirt. She is owned by Averill Racing LLC and CCF Racing Stable and trained by Wesley Ward.

FIRST WINNER FOR FRESHMAN SIRE GENERAL QUARTERS!

Our freshman sire GENERAL QUARTERS was represented by his first winner yesterday. Beautiful Sin, a two year old filly, won a Maiden Claiming ($50,000) event at Gulfstream Park by 3-1/2 lengths going 7-1/2 furlongs on the turf.

ANOTHER FIRST OUT WINNER FOR TIZDEJAVU

Grace Margaret, a three year old filly by TIZDEJAVU, broke her maiden by 4 lengths at Ellis Park on Saturday on debut for Alex Clarkson.

TWO WINNERS FOR TASTE OF PARADISE ON SATURDAY

TASTE OF PARADISE was represented by two winners on Saturday. Velocita, a three year old filly, won her second race in five lifetime starts at Emerald Downs. Later in the evening at Mountaineer Park; Starmark, a four year old son, went from last to first in a ten horse field to win a maiden special weight in his second career start.

TWO WINNERS FOR TIZDEJAVU ON FRIDAY

TIZDEJAVU was represented by two winners on Friday. Two year old colt, Ya Lo Viste, broke his maiden going 5-1/2 furlongs on the main track at Arlington Park by 3-1/2 lengths. Also on the same day; La Coronita, a three year old filly, won a race at Belterra Park by 1-1/4 lengths.

Tastes Secret, a two year old son of Taste of Paradise, ran a game third in the $50,000 Cavonnier Juvenile Stakes on Sunday at Santa Rosa. The multiple stakes placed horse has 1 win, 1 second, and 1 third, from 4 lifetime starts.

1ST TIME STARTER FOR GENERAL QUARTERS RUNS 2ND IN MSW AT GULFSTREAM

Beautiful Sin, a two year old filly by our Freshman sire GENERAL QUARTERS, ran a close second on debut yesterday in a $42,300 Maiden Special Weight at Gulfstream Park for two year old fillies.
