Tizdejavu was represented by two winners on Sunday. It is Dejavu, a three year old gelding, won a Maiden Claiming ($30,000) race by 3-1/4 lengths at Ellis Park. Tiz Tricky, a three year old filly, won a claiming race at Prairie Meadows by eight lengths, going six furlongs in 1:10 flat.
Magic Taste, a five year old son of Taste of Paradise, went from last to first in an Allowance field at Los Alamitos Race Course on Sunday to win a six furlong race under wraps. He was ridden by Hall of Fame Rider, Kent Desormeaux. His next start will most likely be in the G1 Bing Crosby Handicap at Del Mar later this month, a win and you’re in, Breeders Cup Challenge Race.
Luna Azteca, a four year old filly by Tizdejavu, picked up $20,050 for her win Thursday in an Optional Claimer at Prairie Meadows. She now has a record of 8-4-1-0 and earnings of $64,998.
Get Sassy, a three year old filly by GET STORMY, won the fifth race at Presque Isle Downs on Tuesday to increase her earnings to $69,010.
On Tuesday, June 27, Taste Of Paradise had two runners, and two winners. At Fairmount Park, Jochero a three year old son of Taste of Paradise, broke his maiden in a ten horse field. An hour later at Fort Erie, Halo’s Paradise, a three year old daughter of Taste of Paradise, broke her maiden going a 1 1/16 mile in a maiden special weight.
Storm the Hill, a three year old filly by GET STORMY, ran a good third in the $100,000 Special Goddess Stakes at Santa Anita on Sunday. They finished the 6-1/2 furlong race on the downhill turf course in 1:12.69, and she was only beaten one length for everything. Storm the Hill now has career earnings of $102,150.
GET STORMY’s Graded Stakes winning filly, Fifty Five, ran a game second to New Money Honey on Thursday in the $200,000 Grade 3 Wonder Again Stakes at Belmont. Never off the board in seven lifetime starts, this was her fourth consecutive stakes appearance. She has made seven starts with three wins, one second, and three thirds for total earnings of $212,600.
Mystic Joy, a three year old filly from the first crop of BULLET TRAIN, won the 7th race by 1-1/4 lengths, a maiden special weight at Mountaineer, yesterday sprinting six furlongs on dirt.
