TASTE OF PARADISE HAS A “PERFECT” SUNDAY

Taste of Paradise had two starters on Sunday, April 30, both at Turf Paradise Race Course.  In the 7^th Race, Perfect Paradise, a 6 year old daughter of Taste of Paradise continued her perfect record for 2017, notching her second victory of the year from two starts, easily defeating a field of seven horses over the 7-1/2 furlong turf course.  This was her sixth career victory.  In the 10^th Race,  a  6 furlong sprint,  Velocita, a 5 year old daughter of Taste of Paradise prevailed in winning the race over a  seven horses field.

TWO TIZDEJAVU RUNNERS RESULT IN TWO WINNERS SATURDAY

TIZDEJAVU was represented by two winners from two runners on Saturday, both at Hawthorne. Wildwood Dejavu won the 2nd race by twelve lengths, a $15,000 Claiming race, going six furlongs on dirt in 1:10 flat. Tizlor won the 5th race, a Maiden Special Weight going six furlongs on dirt in 1:12-3.

PRODUCTIVE SATURDAY FOR GET STORMY RUNNERS

Saturday was a productive day for runners by Get Stormy:

In the first race at Lone Star, Stormin thru Dixie, broke his maiden by winning a 7-1/2 furlong turf race.

In the fourth race at Belmont, Flyoff, ran a close 2nd in a $75,000 Maiden Special Weight going six furlongs on turf.

Last but not least, Get Sassy, came back off a layoff to run a good 3rd only beaten a length in an Allowance Opt. Claiming race ($75,000) going seven furlongs on dirt at Tampa.

TIZ TRICKY WINS MAIDEN SPECIAL AT PRAIRIE MEADOWS

Tiz Tricky, a three year old filly by TIZDEJAVU, won a state bred Maiden Special weight with a $40,000 purse yesterday going six furlongs on the main track at Prairie Meadows.

GET STORMY COLT WINS MAIDEN SPECIAL AT GOLDEN GATE

Sahara Storm, a three year old colt from the first crop of GET STORMY, won a maiden special weight going 1-1/16th miles on turf at Golden Gate yesterday for Don’t Tell My Wife Stables and trainer, Keith Desormeaux.

FIFTY FIVE RUNS THIRD IN THE $100K MEMORIES OF SILVER STAKES

Fifty Five, a three year old filly from the first crop of GET STORMY, ran third yesterday in the $100,000 Memories of Silver Stakes at Aqueduct yesterday. She was making her first start for new connections after being purchase privately following her win in the G3 Florida Oaks at Tampa.

GET STORMY GELDING WINS ALLOWANCE SPRINTING ON DIRT AT MOUNTAINEER

Mr. D’s Way, a three year old gelding from the first crop of GET STORMY, won a five furlong Allowance sprint by 2-3/4 lengths on dirt yesterday at Mountaineer.

STORM THE HILL WINS TURF ALLOWANCE DOWN THE HILL AT SANTA ANITA

Storm the Hill, a three year old filly from the first crop of GET STORMY, won a salty allowance sprinting 6-1/2 furlongs in 1:12-4 on turf down the hill at Santa Anita yesterday. She now has updated earnings of $91,350 for trainer, Peter Miller and owners, Gary Barber, Silver Ranch Stable and Wachtel Stable.

COUNTRY DAY GELDING BREAKS HIS MAIDEN SPRINTING AT FAIR GROUNDS

Day Drinker, a three year old gelding from the first crop of COUNTRY DAY, broke his maiden sprinting six furlongs on dirt in 1:10-4 at Fair Grounds yesterday for the Gumbeaux Group and Trainer, Steve Margolis.

GET STORMY FILLY WINS ON DEBUT AT TAMPA

Iwishitwouldrain, a three year old filly from the first crop of GET STORMY, won on debut going 1-1/16th miles on the turf at Tampa yesterday for Owner, Judy Miller and Trainer, Buff Bradley.
